I made this! (EOTD: Taupe)

So today I finally took out the TKB Trading's Pop! sampler and tried to make some little taupe color for myself. Success :)

All ingredients in same quantity (Green Apple, Grape, Raspberry and Tangerine from the Pop! Collection and the Boron glow and Sparkle samples). Note I chose colors that would cancel each other out, I wanted a taupe.
Here it's possible to see the progress:
no 1 is purple and green together
no 2 is no 1 with a touch of orange
no 3 is all the above with pinkish red, sparkle and boron added.

And here's the result:

EDM's Pick Me Up Pink as blush
EDM's Pearl Sunlight under the eyes
Simply Natural's Sandlewood as liner (wet)
EDM's Sandy Beige (intensive) as foundation and under the brow
a tad of EDM's Cool Fair (semi-matte) as the finishing veil
Next time I'll try to leave out the Sparkle, to have a more matte version. The mixing seems rather fun and easy, actually... I'd like to dupe some Silk Naturals neutral eye shadows.

PS! And here's Pick Me Up Pink as Blush:

PS! A link to a great DIY MMU blog

EOTD: Bronze Fine

TKB's Bronze Fine all over lid
Conservatorie's Gold Earth blended in the crease
EDM's Pearl Sunlight under the eyes (got the full size the other day - wonderful stuff)
Simply Naturals' Sandlewood wet as liner
Foundation is EDM's Olive Fair in intensive and o-glo
Blush: EDM's Pick Me Up Pink (perfect, almost invisible light pink, Bisque seems a tad better though)

I made 2 sets of pics, the light is so different that the same makeup looks like totally something else. An afterthought - should have added something dark in the outer V... the eyes would be more expressive then.

EDM Olive family

Some of my testers just arrived:
Olive Fair (o-glo)
Sweet Almond (intensive) and
Light Martian (matte).

The first look: Fair is ok, the others are too yellow. Golden Fair seems to be a pleasant surprise. Apple (blush) is too dark and does not compliment my skin tone at all. Pearl Mint (concealer) looks more like shiny white powder on me.

And vukkadi-vukk - if forum-talk is to believed, Everyday Minerals' Super Custom Kit (12 full sized items for 50 USD) will be gone after July 6th! Vuck! I say.... it was the cheapest place to get foundations.

EOTD Green: Breath of Spring

TKB's Breath of Spring 1 layer wet, second dry, blended upwards with Sparkle, EDM's Sandy Fair as foundation and under the brows. Forgot to use Pearl Sunlight under the eyes.

NB! These pics are made 8 hrs after application.

Here's another green:

The dark color in my hair is turning redder every week. Colleagues tell me I look too alien wearing such bright green - will go back to my browns from now on.
This look is the same as above with the difference of Green Apple in the crease and Lemon Drop above that.
Do apologize for the bad quality of the pic.

Ms E's swatches of her EDM haul

Now I have to do handle some backlog: Ms E sent me her swatches she made of her EDM collection and gave me her kind permission to upload them here. I kinda assume that the swatches are made in the same sequence that they are listed on the paper.
