Lumene Natural Code lipstick in Sweet Pink

I bought this in January! And then lost it... it was hiding in an old bag until now. So here is my long lost buddy swatched:

Consistency is nice and creamy as expected, coverage is somewhat less - this is more a lip balm then a lipstick. Recently there have been signals, that these are no longer obtainable in larger department stores. Seems Lumene might discontinue them. What a shame.

This time the label came off well and lipstick itself looks nice too. I bought a lighter one because it seemed to me Mauve Rose makes my upper lip seem even narrower then it actually is - darker lipsticks have this annoying effect.

e.l.f. mineral eyeliner pencils

The fact that I have been such a lazy writer of course has nothing to do with my actual purchases - those have been piling up since February. So embarrassing.
From top to bottom: e.l.f. Feather Proof eye liner,
e.l.f. mineral eyeliner in Ash,e.l.f. mineral eyeliner in Coffee,
Manhattan's Extreme Last eyeliner, Lumene mineral eyebrow pencil in Gray Brown
Here are all my eyeshadow and brow pencils. I have to admit I'm quite happy with the latter - my Lumene mineral eyebrow pencil (with protecting arctic amethyst, mind you)  in  gray brown. (Lately everything has to be "mineral", have you noticed?) Of course, it could be a tad cooler and less red but that's besides the point since my eyebrows seem to have a slight reddish shade as well.

Main heros here are the latest acquisition - e.l.f. mineral eyeliners in Coffee and Ash. They are soft and spread well which also means they kinda spread all over my browbone should I forget to fix them with some eyeshadow. Ash is a quite dark gray blackish color, no medium gray as could be expected by it's name.

Nice texture and I quite like them. Unlike the e.l.f. "feather proof" one which is a true pain on the lid, extremely harsh (came with the mineral eyeshadow set). Manhattan's eyeliner pencil is dark black and also very soft. I still want a white or cream eyeliner but e.l.f. does not carry one in their mineral line. The Essential line I'd frankly rather miss and the Studio one does not seem very tempting either.
I am rather old fashioned (or new fashioned, perhaps) - I prefer pencils to liquid and cream liners - they seem easier to control. These I do not need to sharpen, a big plus.

e.l.f.'i Mineral seeria silmapliiatsid on pehme tekstuuriga, kanduvad kergesti kulmuluule üle (halb, eksole) kuid minu meelest siiski kaunis ok.

CS Sage Blue with Grape Parfait / Lumene's Volume Defining Mascara

These are both colors that need a colored/opaque primer underneath - a sheer one will not do. Both of them have more of a sheen-effect and low coverage when applied dry. CS Sage Blue is all over lid and inner corners, TKB Grape Parfait in outer corners and crease, TKB's Champagne on the brow-bone. Did not bother to curl lashes. Manhattan's eyeshadow primer. Skin is flaking, exfoliating does not help.
This color-duo needs a third color, badly. It looks so undefined and bland - am thinking either cool brown or dark gray in the crease. And definitely some base, either skin-coloured or dark.
Mascara used is Lumene's Volume Defining Mascara, the green one, it was a gift-with-purchase.
Consistency is very liquid and the wand looks like Blueberry Curls'.

After swimming (I never stick head under water while swimming) and couple of sauna trips this is what remained:
(sry about the bad lighting conditions): I'd say a mighty good mascara.
Air humidity in the spa was close to 70%. Eyeshadow has creased.

Lumene Natural Code lipstick from the Smile Booster series - Mauve Rose

I was enthralled by the packaging - beautiful black base and delicate green print on top.
Color looks rather bright in the pics, it's a lovely wearable darkish pink color, creamy and covering. Feels wonderful on the lips and goes well with my more neutral eye looks. I think this was a very appropriate use of the Kaubamaja gift card :D
Lumene Natural Code lipstick Smile Booster nr 2 Mauve Rose

I'll wait with the lip swatch until I have some light again, hopefully it'll be soon. Ingredients are not so natural as the Lumene Wild Rose series lipsticks have it (those are more sheer, like glosses). There are some lake dyes in here.

But I wonder WHY do our shops mangle our toiletries this way:
the glue just wont come off... any advice?
this is what it looks like now... after I tried to remove it
with oil and when that did not work, acetone :S
Paber õnnestus õliga maha hõõruda kuid liimijäljed jäid. Atsetoon seevastu muutis kokkupuutel plastikuga tolle krobeliseks ja nüüd näeb tuttuus huulepulk suhteliselt kole välja. Kahju. Pakend ise ju väga kena disainiga. Häbi Sulle, maaletooja (või kesiganes neid silte kleebib)!

Lumene Natural Code liquid foundation in Vanilla

Finally tried out my sample of Lumene Natural Code liquid foundation in Vanilla a genereous saleslady provided me with. Pale people, rejoice! Not too yellow, not too orange - perfect light neutral beige. It's on the sheer side and does not appear mask-like - it's totally opposite, very natural looking. Used E.L.F's foundation brush for application, worked like a charm. Here's a nice before-after picture of the foundation:

The foundation was applied with no primer, just some jojoba oil as moisturizer and it started to wear off by afternoon.

On the eyes I used Champagne on the brow-bone, Peach on the lid and Moon Stone on the crease today. Subtle, again.
And here's a pic of all the stuff used. Mulberry was used on the cheeks.

Lõpuks ometi on müügile tulnud piisavalt hele jumestustoode!
PS! If one looks real hard, it's possible to see my first ever pressed pigment on the photo - Peach.

PPS! For Pale too: not so perfect, actually...

Shopping!

I have very important guests coming over so I made a tiny splurge and invested in The Body Shop's Pomegranate and Raspberry home and linen spray. Might be slightly too sweet but I like it :). TBS has a 20% off at the moment. But even still - it's so much cheaper elsewhere, i.e. UK. Goes for £6 in UK but full price in Estonia is almost £10.

Also bought Dr.Hauschka's tester of their light version of the Rose Day Cream. My skin is acting up lately and probably needs little pampering. The small 5 gr tube will last me a month (55 kr) and is a good size for traveling.

The little jar on the left is a liquid foundation from Lumene's Natural Code series that was said to be very light: Vanilla. Since I cant really spot the place on my arm where I swatched it, I guess it's true :). The saleslady got really carried away and I think there's 4-7 uses in the little jar. I only asked for one... Thank you :)
I think I also saw some note there stating that this (seasonal product) is so cheap (109 kr if I remember correctly) only because it's being discontinued :S.

And here's an EOTD too, using TKB's Radiant Gold in inner corners, Grape Parfait in outer corners, Hilite Gold in the middle of the lid, also used for blending the purple outwards from the crease and to cover the eye liner pencil. Foundation was Archetype Cosmetics' Yellow Beige in level 1 (it worked miracles today, trust me on this...). EDM's Pearl Sunlight is under the eyes and on the browbones, very light mascara application because it's rainy today - trying to minimize potential pandaness :D.
Today I used Dr. Scheller's moisturizer instead of the usual jojoba oil and I did not let it set enough... foundation looks a bit heavy.
