colors used: TKB Trading's Metallic White,
Antique Silver, Moonstone

This is a color-study.

Verdict: Antique Silver and Moonstone are too similar toned, must pick either a lighter grey or a warmer toned brown or add some highlight color (Metallic White?) in the middle of the lid, just atop the iris. At the moment there's no particular effect to this look. And I thought Moonstone is more neutral - it looks reddish on the pic.

Tänane look on tehtud puhtalt värvitestina. Hall ja pruun üheskoos. Oleksin vist pidanud valima heledama halli, soojema pruuni või siis Metallic White' täpi ka keset liikuvat laugu panema - hetkel tundub kogu look väga monokroomne. Metallic White on silmanurkades, Antique Silver sisenurkades ja üle lau, Moonstone välisnurkades, hajutatuna sissepoole, Champagne on kulmuluul.

Seekord kasutasin Archetype mineraalpuudrit toonis Yellow Beige level 1. Silmameik pidas Manhattani meigialuskreemil vastu hiliste õhtutundideni.

EOTD Grey: Fine White in Antique Silver

TKB Trading's Peach as blush, EDM's Intensive Fair Concealer as foundi

All TKB stuff: Fine White in inner corners, Antique Silver in the crease and Champagne on the brow-bone. EDM's Intensive Fair Concealer as foundi and Peach as an (invisible) blush. I absolutely adore the frail fairy-like style (makes the eyes look so deep, multidimensional), all my bright and dark colors just sit there, abandoned, waiting for spring. My EDM's Fair Neutral is running out, have been using Intensive Fair but it's a bit too dark... there's a tone difference between face and neck.

My skin has turned really bad, must be something I ate.

Värvid on peale kantud kuivalt, aluskreemita - pidas vastu ca 3 tundi, siis hakkas lauvakku kogunema. Mulle tundub, et ripsmekoolutajatel on täitsa pointi - silmad suured ja punnis nagu navi'l. Nahk seevastu on täitsa hull - igapäevane veinijoomine ma ütlen, tuleb maha jätta.

EOTD Limerick Storm

Subtle, so very me. Makes the eyes seem gray though. TKB Trading's Storm in outer corners, Limerick all over lid and on top of it. All applied dry. Foundation today is EDM's Fair Neutral in intensive, EDM's Pearl Sunlight under the eyes. TKB Trading's Garnet as blush - I should mix it with the eyeshadow base, I feel it was too bright. Forgot the liner.

Eyebrows are starting to look like Brook Shields'. Damn it E.L.F., where are my tweezers I ordered more then a month ago?!? (Later addition: were lost in the mail, all refunded :S)

Ordered some more Sarsted jars too for all those TKB samples still without a jar but who's going to pick them up from the wholesalers at the other side of the town? I'm still crippled... Doc says to wear the bandage one more month. I already have friends and family to walk the dog for me, don't know how much longer they can keep it up.

E.L.F.'s mineral eyeshadow primer (I dont like it - too oily, too liquid, takes a long time to dry and gathers in your crease when freshly applied)
E.L.F.'s Socialite dry all over lid, blended upwards with the 1-dollar blending brush

Pics taken in daylight - why does my face look so bloody red?!?

Actually a bit dark for the office but I'll live. It would be nice if the ELF blending brush would be 2/3 or half it's current size - it's abit too big.

ELF'i hajutuspintsel oli päris mõnus kasutada, hea meel et kohe 2 võtsin. Kuulu järgi kipuvad ELFi pintslid peale pesu lagunema - pintsliosa tuleb varre küljest lahti - hea kui varusid jagub. EDMi LHK-l tuli ka sel kevadel  vars tagant aga pole miskit, mida väike super-glue ei saaks parandada.

Püüan end harjutada ELFi puudripintslit kasutama aga ikka veel tahan pidevalt kätt EDMi poole  sirutada. Sel lühem vars (mugavam käes hoida) ja pehmem karvastik. Tundub nahal mõnusam. ELFi pintslimaterjal (sünteetilistel) tundub olema sihuke staatilist elektrit koguv - puudrit lendab temaga palju rohkem.

EOTD dark blue or brownish gray

Playing with piggies continues. Trying to make the unwearable colors wearable, mixing and matching.

This time the poor victim was Totally Teal. I started out trying to turn it into something reminding me of TKB's Ocean Green (blue with golden gleam) by adding gold sparks and Satin Orange Gold but the result was still too brightly tealish. Added some Blackstar Red into the mix and got this:

Overall impression - kinda blah... Will not attempt again. In daylight the color is more grayish, in artificial light the blueness creeps out.

EOTD Gray: Epiphany

Valisin toonid umbropsu - kohutav kuid kuigi mul on nii palju erinevaid lauvärvitoone, tundub mulle ikka, et pole midagi laugudele panna - et kõik toonid juba ära proovitud ja kombinatsioonid läbi mängitud. Sellisel juhul on vaja vaid silmad sulgeda ja posust mõned niisama välja võtta - võib väga headele kombinatsioonidele juhtuda.

Archetype' toonidest Epiphany üle lau, Dirty Blonde kulmuluust silmavaoni ning Oceans of the Night niiskelt lainerina. Silmavaos on The Conservatorie Dark Coco. Silmade all EDM'i Pearl Sunlight ja meigipõhjana EDM'i Intensive Fair concealer.
Lauvärvipõhi on Manhattani oma ning ripsmetušš Lumene Blueberry. Ripsmed seekord ei õnnestunud - aevastus tuli enne peale.

Looks nice. Used the new EDM dome blending blush to apply the crease color - worked quite fine. Picture taken on a cloudy day, by the window some 10 minutes after applying.

Archetype has lots of different muted tones, many grays to choose from. Epiphany is dark silver gray with medium sheen that has tiny sparks of all colors in it. Dirty Blonde is orangish muted beige tone with golden sheen and Oceans of the Night is dark bluish black with tiny multicolored sparkles. Conservatorie's Brown Coco is simple matte dark brown.

Simply Naturals' Primrose as blush (pink undertone, lots of gold sparkle)

Burlesque Revival is dove gray with pink sheen.
Unfortunately the pink sheen is not visible on the photos.

The gleam under the eyes is magnified by the camera - the Pearl Sunlight effect.

Neck is the same color as the face

The blush is almost invisible.
Primrose is light pink with lots of gold sparkle.

Should start using the silver-purple conditioner - the orangeness of my hair is annoying me.

I made this! (EOTD: Taupe)

So today I finally took out the TKB Trading's Pop! sampler and tried to make some little taupe color for myself. Success :)

All ingredients in same quantity (Green Apple, Grape, Raspberry and Tangerine from the Pop! Collection and the Boron glow and Sparkle samples). Note I chose colors that would cancel each other out, I wanted a taupe.
Here it's possible to see the progress:
no 1 is purple and green together
no 2 is no 1 with a touch of orange
no 3 is all the above with pinkish red, sparkle and boron added.

Next time I'll try to leave out the Sparkle, to have a more matte version. The mixing seems rather fun and easy, actually... I'd like to dupe some Silk Naturals neutral eye shadows.

16. okt tellitud ning nad pole veel saatmisenigi jõudnud - saadavad alles 15. septembri seisuga tellimusi välja. Kiirus on ikka HÄMMASTAV.

Olen jõudnud vahepeal juba äragi unistada, et mida üldse tellisin...

(Just ranting about Archetype's order which has still not been shipped although ordered on 16 October... it's 8 January already.)

Here's a couple of EOTD pictures featuring Erotic Underground - the color which I ordered in full size. I am really getting pissed off... If the packet does not arrive in January I'll notify PayPal.



Good news: it's January 11 and apparently my order has shipped.

Methinks - no more ordering from Archetype.

Have wasted too much money on it and the service frankly sucks.

2nd order was 31,50 USD: 2 full foundies, 2 full e/s, 4 e/s samples, shipping 5 USD.

3rd order was 15 USD - am I so sorry I did not write this one down... it had 5 foundation samples, methinks, with 5 USD shipping.

I also rather suspect that I got screwed over on my 1st order.

It's January 30 and no sign of my order...

Its February 6th and the haul is finally here.
I am not even happy... I've been so frustrated over this order that I do not even care about it now.
