Müüa e.l.f. Studio pintslikomplekt

This post is for fellow Estonians - about a large custom purchase e.l.f. Studio brush haul I ordered in June from the US e.l.f. store. Some ppl do not have credit cards and others can't afford the unbelievable 45 eur (!) price tag the Studio set carries in the UK e.l.f. store. Here's their chance :)

Saabusid mu custom purchase (CP tähendab, et  keegi nt USAs ostab Sinu eest (nt kui pood väljapoole USAd ei saada) ja saadab Eestisse edasi) pintslikomplektid - ma ikka olin tubli ja arvestasin ka teistega, sest üks selline pintslikomplekt on UK e.l.f.'i poes ebanormaalsed 45 eurot! USAs on täishind 30 dollarit ja sooduka ajal saab veelgi odavamalt. Kahjuks pole aga paki Eestisse saatmine kuigi odav ja see ajab hinnad veidi üles, nagu ka pintslite pealt tollile makstav käibemaks 20% - ühe komplekti lõpphind tuli soolased 23,4 eurot. See teeb 1,95 per pintsel, juhul kui pintslikotti (mis muide on päris korralik) ka arvutuses arvestada.

Niisiis, kes soovib pintsleid? Selles komplektis on 3 suurepärast suurt näopintslit ja posu pisikesi.

Ainuke halb asi selle komplekti juures - stipple ja angled blending brush (vt pildil komplekti kõrval) pole seal sees - need tulid müüki peale seda, kui komplekt tootmisesse anti. Coastal Scents mica sale -ends 07/27

One teaspoon sample is 1 USD, 75 cents with the discount. Micas, when bought ounce-wise (!), are pretty much the same price as TKB's. Therefore if one needs more then the sample sizes, Coastal Scents is the place to go to on this Sunday-Wednesday. For massive sample-shopping TKB might still be the best option simply because their samples are 3 times larger.

The Conservatorie's sale -30% on the private label line until July 2

To celebrate 4th of July the Conservatorie is offering -30% off their private label collection: foundations, blushes and whatnot. 30% sale is not to be sneezed at. I have no idea whether the foundations offered in the private label collection are the same as the bulk foundations they sell - therefore one may not decide based on the swatches I have on this blog.

Conservatorie'l on allahindlus 2 . juulini - 30% nende private label kollektsioonist, seal on nii pulber- kui pressitud tooteid ning isegi lauvärvi aluskreem. Seda viimast tahaks proovida aga ei viitsi suurt hunnikut osta. Ma ei tea, kas need puudrid on samad kui hulgimüüdavad puudrid, mille testrid mul olemas ja siinsamas blogis ka swatchitud.

When is the best time to shop at e.l.f's UK store?

Here's some calculations for NON UK people. (UK peeps have slightly different calculations because their shipping cost is lower and they receive free shipping on orders starting from £30.) 

First column contains the price of items, second the entire cost of the purchase including shipping, third describes the situation during free shipping and fourth allows us to see, how much we should purchase for the -20% offer to really start paying off. Please let me know should there be any miscalculation on my part.

Of course there are several other offers, recently there was a -25% offer on all Studio products but those are totally random and cannot be predicted. Free shipping and -20% storewide are predictable, both of them are launched as e.l.f. UK store's FB page reaches another 10 000 likes.

Mothers day and all... Btw, have you noticed that Coastal Scents' brush selection has somewhat dwindled away? It seems so to me - it used to take much longer for me to browse through the selection...

Kuna need on väherasvased kerged kreemid, siis ei kasuta ma neid talvel enne kodust välja minemist. Selleks otstarbeks on rasvasem Dr.Hauschka roosikreem ning nüüd siis ka paar nädalat tagasi saadud BellaPierre niisutava kreemi tester.

Inglismaal käies napsasin TKMaxx´ist ära 5-naelased Weleda 30ml iirise ja kibuvitsa päevakreemi tuubid. Ma lihtsalt pidin... kodumail on nad märksa kallimad. Kibuvitsa panen järgmist talve ootama kuid iiris tundub kergem, seda saab juba kevadhooajal edukalt kasutama hakata.

(Sometimes I feel utterly embarrassed for my spending addiction - just think of all those starving children in Africa or homeless people on the street. This amount of cash would feed one of them for a week and I - I spend it on stuff I actually do not even need but only want. E.L.F. Studio series 50% off until March 1st

Seems that E.L.F does the 50% off sales periodically - all the time something is 50% off, sometimes even 70 to 75% but I've never witnessed one of those myself. Last week it was the mineral line 50% off.
Now this particular sale should interest ppl who have been eying the Studio line makeup brushes, eyeshadow primers and liquid liners.
Happy shopping and according to the recommendations of the Makeup-alley experts, do not forget to add the 1-dollar line eyeshadow brush and blending brush to the shopping basket!

PS! Message from ELF showed deadline 15th March but on the homepage it seems to be 1st March - dunno which is the correct one.

Wonderful customer service by E.L.F.

I recieved a letter today, which amazed me. You see - it has never ever happened to me before. All started as I did an (I'd like to think) honest one-star review on the E.L.F. tweezers, that I got and that are totally unusable. Well - CS contacted me and wanted to know if they could replace it or reimburse the cost. It seems I'll be getting another tweezers to replace these. It's nice to know that if one has some problem with an E.L.F. product it will be taken care of.

E.L.F. has a sale on their mineral stuff until February 23rd, all who are interested - go for it. Coupon code is "MIN50".

E.L.F. mineral lipsticks - not bad at all

lipThe main problem with E.L.F. mineral lipsticks is that they are NOT true to pics on the E.L.F. homepage. Most of the negative comments are made by people who have bought a specific color and then ended up with something totally different. I think it's "Royal Red" that causes the biggest confusion. I warmly suggest to look at a lot of swatches first when planning to get some.
Also beware - it's not a true "mineral" product - mineral oils are used in production. Of course E.L.F. homepage fails to tell us this and those ingredients can be later found on the packaging of the product as it arrives in your mailbox.

E.L.F.i mineraalhuulepulgad on põhimõtteliselt toonivad läiked - sõbraliku koostisega (sisaldab loodusliku kõrval siiski ka paari mineraalõli-derivaati, kõigile ei sobi) ning mahedad toonid. Kui uskuda e.l.f.i kodulehel olevaid kommentaare, siis on osad huulepulgad katvama koostisega kui teised. Maksavad 5 USD tükk kuid saab ka odavamalt, kui kupongikoode kasutada.

The ones I got are Pouty Petal and Rosy Raisin. Nice colors, the first is cooler, the latter warmer toned. Both are very suitable for pale people. Remind me of my favorite lipstick-shaped  lipglosses from Manhattan that are no longer in production - sheer, moisturizing and wearable. I quite like the packaging - sleek and black, the logo is very unnoticeable - black on black.

E.L.F. ships pretty fast, ordered on 27th and received on 9th, 2 weeks is very good for packages from US. I used the coupon code "CAROLINA" which gives you 50% off on your purchase up to 15 USD. Since E.L.F. stuff is cheap, one does not exceed that limit very often. Perhaps if you crave the Studio Line makeup-brush set that costs 30 USD... but even then I suggest to wait for a special offer on makeup brushes which is bound to happen at some point. Occasionally they even offer 75% off coupon codes on some products. But the "CAROLINA" though - I think it's a permanent thing, it has been around for quite some time now.

Annoying is that once I received the lipsticks I discovered that they have a 50% sale on lipsticks until February 15th (if you buy for more then 15 USD worth) with the coupon code "50LIPS".

E.L.F. aslo has a quite reputable-looking mineral product line: bases (not much of a color selection, contains bismuth oxychloride) eyeshadows, blushes etc. and their Studio line makeup brushes are also quite famous. I also read excellent reviews on their 1-dollar line eye shadow and blender brushes.
