Finally the review: Elegant Minerals sample haul

The samples arrived quickly but I was too busy to do the swatches.

I ordered the Elegant Minerals 13 piece MMU sample kit containing:

Blush samples:

513 Pale Apricot
504 Terra Cotta
514 Natural Glow

Terra cotta is the strangest terra cotta color I've seen so far: usually colors under that name are brick orange. This one is natural and pinkish, I much prefer this to Pale Apricot.

(Sheer Neutral looks very bright yellow in the jar)

320 True Cream

Silver Bullet is not present on the pics, gave away - looks like any other silvery color. Seafoam reminds me of EDM's mint concealer but it has some sparkle in it. True Cream is too yellow for me, cannot use it.

Foundations have very nice structure and blend with water like a dream. I think my  colors are Light Bisque and Natural Wheat.

Got a packet of samples Monday evening, still no time to swatch them. At least had enough time for a EOTD.

Saabus Elegant Minerals'i pakk kuid siiani pole jõudnud swatche teha - loodetavasti järgmine nädalavahetus... tellisin päris palju meigipõhja-näidiseid, neid oleks päris huvitav võrrelda. Natural Wheat on liiga oranž.

Here's something pink, unfortunately looks quite bland on the photos.

Conservatorie's Gold Earth in inner corners
TKB's Winter Rose in outer V
EDM's Pearl Sunlight concealer under the eyes and on the browbone

Archetype's Pink Beige in lev 1 as foundi

Kahjuks ei jäänud roosad toonid kuigi hästi pildile ning olgem ausad, Primrose on liiga tugevalt roosa et silmadele sobida. Pigem põsepunana kasutatav. Imelik värv - räige roosa hunniku kullasädelusega. See sädelus kaob silmilt kiiresti kui meigialuskreemiga koonerdada.

EOTD Brown, I guess... all Archetype

Tänased silmad on jälle juhuvaliku teel tekitatud:
umbkaudu valides jäid pihku pruun sädelev Xilbalba, tumerohekashall Gargoyle Trees ning lillakashall Veil of Shadows. Põsepunana Apocalypse Meow - pakendis väga lahe värv.
Meigipõhjaks samuti Archetype, Pink Beige level 1 - vaid silmade all on EDMi Pearl Sunlight.
Toonid kandsin peale kuivalt, ripsmejoonele pruuni, keskele rohelise ning kõige üles lillakashalli.

Dr. Scheller's new moisturizer for sensitive skin

Apotheker Scheller tegi väikese uuenduse ning on nüüd alates 2009. aastast tuntud lihtsalt Dr. Scheller'ina. Pakendid muutusid ja ka tooted ise on nüüd veidi teise koostisega. Looduskosmeetika kontseptsioon jäi samaks ning ka hind on samasugune, taskukohane.

Why I like Apotheker Scheller's/Dr. Schellers (from 2009) stuff:

1. it's cheap (ca 140EEK/USD13 for 50ml)
2. the ingredients list does not make my hair stand up
3. seems to work too.

Germans are pretty heavily into organic cosmetics and Dr. Scheller answers their needs: it has the BDIH-certificate, which is given to cosmetics that comlpy with these requirements.
