TKB Trading pigments: yellows and golds

This time no primer and all swatches are foiled.

From top to bottom:

(The Conservatorie's) 18 K Gold mica
(The Conservatorie's) Xian Vistas mica
Lemon Drop Pop!
Lotsa Lime (Edda's set)
Radiant Gold
24 K Gold (too glittery)
Tangerine Pop!
Crucible Khaki
Forged Gold (same as Simply Natural's Fools Gold)
Bronzed Gold
Bronze Fine
Crucible Gold
Crucible Red (dark purplish red, gorgeous)
Copper Penny

I adore the metallic colors... they stick well and have good coverage. I did not like the 24 Karat Gold much cause it is really way too glittery.

  1. Hi!

I hope you had a great Christmas! :-)
Thanks for the tips about making one's own seabuckthorn oil: here in Hungary that plant is very difficult to come by, but we use the same method to make our own calendua cream and oil. :)

BTW, those pigments look great! It should be fun to create your very own shades. Let us know how it goes. :)

    Lots of love,
    Izar

  2. Sea-buckthorn is practically a weed - grows very easily. it's a pain to pick the berries - bloody thorns, you see :D , Calendula is safer.

Christmas was great - minimum of family visits and lots of sleep - just the way I like it. Hope you enjoyed yours as much as I did mine :)

Now there's still the New Year's eve to be survived... and lots of EOTD-s to be made. So many new colors! I think this will be my last big haul for a very long time...

    xoxo
